The Guyana Annual is a literary and art magazine that hosts a yearly competition to discover and promote Guyanese writers and artists. Winners are awarded a modest cash prize and their work is published in The Guyana Annual Print and Digital Platforms.

How to Enter

As previously mentioned, the theme for The Guyana Annual 2021-2022 Edition is "Technology".  All content entered must centre around this theme.

You can submit entries via Google Forms or Hard Copy. Read on to find out how:
 

Google Forms

1. Read the rules.

2. Choose a category.

3. Fill out the form which can be found here. 

4. Upload entries in the Google Form you filled out.

Hard-copy 

1. Read the rules.

2. Choose a category.

3. Call or WhatsApp Danielle Swain on 592 691 8218 between Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm for details on where to drop entry/entries.

4. Entries must have the following details: 

   1. Name of the category you wish to enter.

   2. Name of entry/entries

   3. Full name, address, contact number and email.

   4. Date of Birth and age at submission date.

   5. If submitting on behalf of a minor, provide your full name and relationship.

   6. Name and number of each entry submitted.

   7. Visual Art Category Only: Dimensions (in centimetres: height x width) and Medium (watercolour, pencil, oil on canvas, mixed etc.)
